LuHi Role: Teacher (English),  joined LuHi in the Fall of 2020

Education: Brown University, B.A. in English with Honors (Magna cum Laude); University of Virginia, Ph.D. in English, M.A. in English

What I love about my role: The English classroom creates a unique space where students can practice really valuable skills while also investigating some of the “big questions” about life—all through reading, discussing, and writing about works of literature.

Hobbies: I enjoy playing sports (particularly soccer!), singing in chorus groups, and watching movies.

What I love about LuHi: LuHi offers a strong sense of community—a space where people can find support, encouragement, and a real sense of belonging. It can make a real difference knowing that there is a whole community of people that wants to help you achieve your goals!
