Ms. Emma Cleary

LuHi Role: Teacher (Middle School Science/STEM), joined the LuHi faculty in 2021

Education: .A in Elementary Education with a minor in STEM Education and M.Ed. in Special Education in Elementary Education.

Other professional experience: I have taught previously in the public school system at the Elementary level. In addition to being a teacher here a LuHi, I also serve as the Pool Director for LuHi Summer Programs.

What I love about my role: I truly LOVE teaching. I love being able to interact with my students on a daily basis and help each of them grow, both academically and socially. I strive to help my students not only succeed in academics but also as the best/truest version of themselves. I love celebrating my students’ successes, no matter how big or small.

Hobbies: Swimming and running. My evenings and weekends consist of being the head coach of a youth swimming program for ages 6-18.

What I love about LuHi: I love the community here at LuHi. I love the light our students bring each and every day, as well as the hard work that goes into making LuHi as wonderful as it is. I am able to see the difference LuHi makes not only during the year within our students and athletes lives, but also in our campers that choose to spend their summers with us.
