Catch the Spirit! Homecoming 2018

Excitement built throughout the week with our annual LuHi Spirit Week.
Students came to school dressed for Tourist Tuesday, followed by Pajama Day, Character Day and finally School Colors Day. Friday afternoon’s Pep Rally celebrated our student athletes and showed off routines from our cheer and dance teams. Senior Lance Sterling won the donut eating contest, earning a dress down day for the senior class. The afternoon concluded with the crowning of our Homecoming King Sean Richardson and Queen Zara Mason.

Fans surrounded the field for the annual homecoming football game, and while disappointed by the loss to the Pennington School, their spirits weren’t dampened! Half-time presentations included the introduction of the homecoming court and performances by the cheer and dance teams. Half-time concluded with Shamar Stephen (’09) and Cindy (Ulreich) Reinhard (’85) being honored and inducted into the LuHi Athletic Hall of Fame. Shamar was unable to attend due to his schedule but will be at LuHi over the winter to receive this honor.

Hail the Homecoming King and Queen, Sean Richardson and Zara Mason and congratulations to their court of lord and ladies:
