Spirit Week Brings LuHi Together for an Unforgettable Homecoming!
Spirit Week brought excitement, creativity, and plenty of Crusader spirit to Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School as students and faculty came together to celebrate Homecoming Week!
Throughout the week, students showed off their school spirit with themed dress-up days, including Young vs. Old Day, Character Day/What Do You Meme?, and Class Colors Day. From creative costumes to classmates representing their grade-level colors, each day brought a new opportunity for our LuHi community to have fun, connect, and celebrate what makes our school special.

The excitement reached its peak on Friday during our Homecoming Pep Rally! Our school community gathered for an afternoon filled with energy, performances, and friendly competition. Students cheered on their classmates, celebrated their school pride, and enjoyed a lineup of exciting activities, including relay races, an air mattress relay race, and a donut-eating contest.

A special highlight of the afternoon was the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen, adding to the excitement of an already memorable celebration!
Spirit Week and the Pep Rally were wonderful reminders of the strong sense of community that makes LuHi so special. Whether dressing up for a themed day, cheering from the crowd, or competing alongside classmates, our students showed what it means to be part of the LuHi family.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Spirit Week and Pep Rally such a success. We loved seeing our community come together, celebrate our traditions, and show off their Crusader pride!
Go Crusaders! 🔴⚫⚪
