When you opt into our text messaging program, we collect:

4. Text Messaging Program and Third-Party Services

We use Tatango (https://www.tatango.com/), a third-party service provider, to manage our text messaging program for fundraising and engagement purposes.  By providing your wireless phone number to us, you agree and consent to receive text messages from LuHi with updates and ways you can support our school.  Message and data rates may apply. 

When you opt into our text messaging program:

  • Your phone number, mobile service provider information, and related opt-in data will be shared with Tatango to facilitate the delivery of messages.
  • Tatango will have access to message delivery information and analytics related to the text messaging campaign.
  • Tatango’s use of this information is governed by their own privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.tatango.com/privacy-policy/.

Mobile Messaging Terms & Privacy

Sign up online or via mobile to receive messages, donation requests, and updates from LuHi.  Message frequency varies.  Message and data rates may apply.  Text STOP to 5164531364 to opt-out.  Support Instructions: For support regarding the Program, text HELP to 5164531364 or email us at development@luhi.org.  Please note that the use of this email address is not an acceptable method of opting out of the program.  T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered mobile messages.

Important notes about our text messaging program:

  • You have the right to unsubscribe from our messaging group at any time.
  • When you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive messages unless you subscribe again.
  • LuHi is responsible for the content of the messages sent through Tatango’s platform.
  • It is our responsibility to acquire necessary permission to send messages to recipients.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties other than Tatango unless required by law or as outlined in this policy.

You can opt out of these messages at any time by replying STOP or following the instructions that may be provided in the messages to opt out.

We have made efforts to ensure that our privacy practices align with those of Tatango.  However, in the event of any inconsistency between LuHi’s privacy policy and Tatango’s privacy policy regarding the handling of your information for the text messaging program:

  • Tatango’s privacy policy will govern the handling of your information by Tatango.
  • LuHi’s privacy policy will govern the handling of your information by LuHi.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve any material inconsistencies that may affect your rights or the handling of your personal information.

We may share your personal information as follows:

  • With Tatango, our text messaging service provider, as described above.

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of LuHi or others.

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.  However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
