8th Grade Dude Ranch Retreat at Rocking Horse: A Journey to Remember
Our 8th graders recently stepped away from the classroom and into the great outdoors for their annual retreat at Rocking Horse Dude Ranch, an experience filled with adventure, connection, and unforgettable memories.
Surrounded by the beauty of nature, students immersed themselves in a variety of exciting activities. From horseback riding and exploring the ranch to engaging in team-building challenges, each experience encouraged them to try new things, build confidence, and grow together.
Beyond the activities, what made this retreat truly special were the relationships. Students strengthened existing friendships, formed new connections, and supported one another throughout the trip. Whether they were cheering each other on, sharing laughs, or simply enjoying time together, the bonds created will last well beyond their 8th-grade year.
As these students prepare to take the next step into high school, the Dude Ranch Retreat served as a meaningful milestone, a time to reflect on their journey so far, celebrate their accomplishments, and look ahead with excitement for what is to come.
