From LuHi to Guatemala
In February 2024, a group of our dedicated juniors and seniors chose to spend their break in a truly impactful way. Accompanied by Reverend Dr. Adam Schoepflin and several esteemed faculty and staff members, they embarked on a mission trip to Guatemala. This journey was not just a trip; it was a profound opportunity to spread God’s love and kindness to those in need.
The team’s days were filled with purposeful activities. They tirelessly worked on building homes, ensuring that families in the local communities had safe and comfortable places to live. Their efforts went beyond just physical labor; they connected deeply with the people they served, sharing moments of joy and laughter with local children. These interactions left lasting impressions on both the volunteers and the community members.
We are so proud of our students, faculty and staff for their hard work and dedication. Their commitment to service and their willingness to step out of their comfort zones to help others is truly inspiring. Every member of the team exemplified the values we hold dear at LuHi.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made this mission trip possible. Your support and prayers were instrumental in allowing our students and chaperones to make such a meaningful difference.
