LuHi Celebrates PS I Love You Day

On Friday, February 11, LuHi students, faculty, and staff celebrated PS I Love You Day. Held each year on the second Friday in February, the goal of PS I Love You Day is to highlight both the importance of mental health awareness, and also the efforts towards anti-bullying. LuHi participates in this effort each year.

Students were treated to a dress down day, where they did not have to wear their LuHi uniform if they wore the theme color for PS I Love You Day – purple! In addition, students also received post-it notes with positive affirmations, and LuHi provided a purple photo backdrop where students could take photos. Each student also received a small wooden cut-out of a foot, a reminder of this year’s PS I Love You Day theme: One Step at a Time.

As LuHi Assistant Head of School | Principal, Mrs. Jessica Raba, shared in her weekly newsletter to families, “I hope that the foot cut-outs shared today will be a reminder that we walk through life one step at a time, buoyed by those around us.”
