What I love about my role: I love helping prospective families through the admissions process! It can be a stressful time for families when switching to a new school-but we are here to lessen the stress and make this a seamless experience!
Hobbies: I love to scuba dive. Growing up on the water my whole life has definitely led to my love for the ocean. I also love to travel and experience new cultures/try new foods.
What I love about LuHi: What I love most about working here at LuHi is the close knit community. From the first day I started working here, I was welcomed with open arms by everyone. LuHi truly feels like a family, and I am so grateful to be a part of such an amazing place!

LuHi Role: Admissions Associate, past experience includes: Teacher of Mathematics and Religion (1975 -87); Assistant Principal (1987 – 2006), Principal (2006 – 11), Assistant Head of School (2011 – 2018)
Education: Valparaiso University (1969), Bachelor of Science in Mathematics; Adelphi University (1973), Master of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education
Hobbies: I am a consummate sports fan: high school, college and professional – Let’s Go Mets! I enjoy reading novels and listening to them when traveling within the United States and abroad.
Family: Married to Judy (Ressmeyer) LuHi Class of 1970. We have three children: Jessica, LuHi Class of 1998, Bethany, LuHi Class of 2000 and Jordan, LuHi Class of 2004.
Awards: 2004: Administrator of the Year by the Lutheran Schools Association. 1993: LuHi Alumnus of the Year.
What I love about LuHi: LuHi has been home to me since I first entered as an eighth grader in September 1960. Throughout my professional service at LuHi my journey has been a “calling” – directed by God for Jesus’ sake. My years in a part-time capacity since 2011 have continued to be a blessing!

Education: St. Joseph’s University (1985), B.S. in Accounting
What I love about my role: I love working with and getting to know the members of our LuHi Family, near and far!
Hobbies: Beach, travel, exercise, movies, baking, reading
Family: I am a proud LuHi Alum. I am married with three children (all graduates of LuHi), and one loveable Sheltie at home.
What I love about LuHi: I love working at a place where Jesus is at the front and center of all we do and being able to share His love with everyone everyday.

LuHi Role: Admissions Associate, Offensive Coordinator for the LuHi Varsity Football team, joined the LuHi staff in 2017
Education: Farmingdale State College (2015), Bachelor of Science in Sports Management, Minor in Business Administration
Hobbies: I love all things football (coaching, watching, playing), spending time with my amazing family, traveling to new places, and being outside/going to the beach.
Family: My wife Rocio and I were married during the pandemic in an intimate ceremony in my parents’ backyard. We have a two year old son, Oakley, who is the absolute light of our world!
Favorite LuHi memory: Winning the League championship with our Varsity Football team in 2019.
What I love about LuHi: I love welcoming new families to LuHi and making the admissions process as smooth and as easy as possible!

Education: Liberty University (2016), BS – Speech Communication: Professional Communication (Summa cum Laude)
What I love about my role: I love introducing families to such an amazing school! Prospective families can truly feel how special LuHi’s culture is as soon as they step foot on campus.
Hobbies: I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, Dan, and son, Sawyer! We love exploring new places, spending time outside, and making memories with family and friends.
What I love about LuHi: I love the culture of community and kindness. Our students respect each other and lift one another up. I love sharing that culture with new families!
