Learning From Those Who’ve Walked the Path: Alumni-Sponsored HBCU Panel

Our students recently had the opportunity to learn firsthand from alumni and guests who have walked the path before them during our Alumni-sponsored HBCU Panel. The event provided an insightful and inspiring look into the experiences, opportunities, and culture found at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

A huge thank you to Arielle Carter ’22 and the incredible panelists who returned to campus to share their personal journeys. Students gained valuable insight as the panelists spoke about their college experiences, answered thoughtful questions, and offered guidance on navigating life at an HBCU. The discussion also included an educational overview of the Divine Nine and the critical role these organizations play in campus life, leadership, and service.

The panel concluded with unforgettable performances that brought energy, pride, and celebration to the event, making the experience both informative and memorable for all in attendance.

We are incredibly grateful to Arielle and our panelists for giving their time, sharing their stories, and inspiring the next generation of students as they explore their college paths. Their willingness to return to campus and invest in our students is a powerful reminder of the strength of our alumni community.
