LuHi Indoor Track: Winter Season Recap

Between shattered school records and national TV appearances, LuHi Indoor Track just finished an incredible winter. The Crusaders didn’t just show up this season, they competed on some of the biggest stages in the sport and made a massive statement.

At the Millrose Trials, our 4×400 relay team was unstoppable. They clocked a 4:09.54, breaking the all-time school record and taking 2nd place. That performance landed them in the 118th Millrose Games Finals, representing LuHi in front of a national audience on NBC.

The success continued at the 50th Anniversary of the Colgate Women’s GamesAbigail Clue took 1st place in the High School Girls’ 1500m, proving she’s one of the best distance runners in the region. In the field, Alaysia Garner held her own against elite competition, placing 6th in the High Jump Finals.
