LuHi Spirit Week 2025: Countdown to Homecoming!
The excitement was building all week at LuHi as students celebrated Spirit Week leading up to Homecoming! Each day brought a new theme and plenty of creativity:
- Moments in Time: Students kicked off the week with throwback looks and historical inspiration.
- Twin/Trio Day: Perfectly matched outfits and creative group themes filled the halls with fun and energy. 👯♀️
- Country 🤠 vs. Country Club 🎾: Cowboy boots met collared shirts in a spirited showdown of style.
- Bikers 🏍️ vs. Surfers 🏄♂️ & Banner Decorating: Thursday was banner decorating! Each year, it’s tradition for every class, club, and sports team to create a banner for the Pep Rally during Spirit Week. Students got creative, designing colorful, eye-catching banners to show their grade and team pride. 🎨
- Class Colors Day: The week wrapped up with each grade showing their pride in bold colors and school spirit!
Friday’s Pep Rally brought the energy to a whole new level. Students competed in friendly and hilarious challenges – from hula hoop relays to racing across the gym on air mattresses! Laughter, cheers, and school spirit filled the room as everyone got ready to celebrate LuHi’s Homecoming.
Friday Afternoon & Saturday: The weekend continues the excitement with multiple sporting events! On Friday at 4:30 pm, cheer on Boys Soccer, Varsity & JV Volleyball, and Girls Tennis. Saturday kicks off with the Homecoming football game at 2 pm, followed immediately by an Alumni Reception up the hill in the cafeteria.
What a week – and weekend – it will be! We can’t wait to see everyone showing their LuHi pride at Homecoming. Go LuHi! 🏈🎉
