10th Grade Career Day Inspires Future Pathways

Today, LuHi’s 10th graders stepped outside the classroom and into their futures during our annual Career Day, an experience designed to inform, inspire, and connect students with real-world opportunities.
A highlight of the day was welcoming back a group of LuHi alumni who once sat in the very same seats as our sophomores. Now pursuing and building careers of their own, these graduates returned to campus eager to share their journeys, insights, and advice with the next generation.
Students had the opportunity to hear from professionals across a wide range of fields, including business and marketing, engineering, health science, sports, and human resources. Through engaging presentations and meaningful conversations, our sophomores gained a deeper understanding of what these career paths look like beyond high school, as well as the steps it takes to get there.
More than just learning about different professions, Career Day created space for connection and reflection. Hearing firsthand from alumni made the experience especially impactful, as students could see tangible examples of where hard work, passion, and a LuHi education can lead.
We are incredibly grateful to our alumni who took the time to return to campus and invest in our students. Their willingness to share their stories and experiences made today both memorable and meaningful.
Career Day serves as a powerful reminder that while the future may feel uncertain, it is also full of possibilities, and today, our sophomores took an exciting step toward discovering it.
