LuHi Robotics Team Competes in 2026 “Rebuilt” Event

LuHi’s Robotics Team recently competed in the 2026 Robotics Competition, “Rebuilt,” taking on an exciting challenge that brought together innovation, collaboration, and determination. Competing against 48 teams, LuHi proudly secured 26th place—an impressive accomplishment that reflects the team’s hard work and commitment.

In the weeks leading up to the competition, students dedicated countless hours to designing, building, and refining their robot. As the event approached, their dedication only grew stronger, with team members staying after school as late as 8:00 PM to ensure every detail was competition-ready. Their perseverance and teamwork were evident not only in their final product, but throughout the entire process.

While the competition itself was thrilling, the experience extended far beyond the arena. Students had the unique opportunity to connect with professionals from leading organizations such as PSEG, Zebra Technologies, and others within the STEM industry. These interactions gave students valuable insight into real-world applications of their skills and opened doors to future possibilities.

Robotics is more than just a competition—it’s a dynamic and collaborative “sport” that unites students from around the world. It challenges them to think critically, work as a team, and push the boundaries of what they can create. For many students, experiences like this are truly one-of-a-kind—not every high schooler gets the chance to build a functioning robot while networking with industry leaders on a global stage.

Most importantly, the team had an incredible time. From problem-solving under pressure to celebrating their successes together, the 2026 Robotics Competition was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Congratulations to our Robotics Team! We can’t wait to see what you build next! 🤖
