An Unforgettable Performance: LuHi Presents Little Shop of Horrors
On Saturday, May 10, the LuHi community gathered in the Hahn Center (CPAC) for a spectacular performance of Little Shop of Horrors, this year’s highly anticipated spring musical. With stunning vocals, standout acting, and captivating set design, the production transported the audience straight to Skid Row for an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, and suspense.
Under the dedicated direction of Ms. Nicholson and Ms. Kara, the cast and crew brought the dark comedy to life with creativity, energy, and heart. From the eerie harmonies of the ensemble to the emotional chemistry between Seymour and Audrey, each moment on stage reflected the passion and effort poured into every rehearsal.
Tabatha ’29 shined in the role of Audrey, capturing the hearts of the audience with her heartfelt performance and powerful vocals. Reflecting on her experience, Tabatha shared:
“Playing Audrey in LuHi’s production of Little Shop of Horrors was an absolute blast, a truly unforgettable experience! I’m so grateful to Ms. Nicholson and Ms. Kara for trusting me with such a dream role and for their incredible guidance in helping me bring Audrey to life.”
That same enthusiasm and appreciation were echoed by fellow cast member Jamie ’28, who said, “During Little Shop of Horrors, I had so much fun with my cast members. This experience was something I can’t ever forget.” Their reflections speak to the strong sense of community, collaboration, and joy that defined the entire production.
The musical showcased the incredible talent of our students not only on stage, but also behind the scenes. From the larger-than-life puppet design of Audrey II to the seamless lighting and sound effects, every aspect of the production came together to create a polished and entertaining show.
