Career Day Connects Students with Inspiring Alumni

This spring, LuHi was thrilled to welcome back alumni—both virtually and in person—for a series of engaging conversations with our current students. From classroom visits to a full-scale Career Day event, alumni shared their stories, career paths, and insights, leaving a lasting impression on students across grade levels and academic interests.
The Career Day event, hosted in partnership by the School Counseling and Advancement offices, focused on LuHi’s 10th graders and provided them with an invaluable opportunity to explore life beyond high school. Alumni from the classes of 1997 to 2017 returned to campus to speak on a variety of career paths, from journalism and engineering to art and international relations.
The day kicked off with a panel discussion where alumni offered advice, reflected on their professional journeys, and shared how their LuHi experiences shaped their personal and professional growth. Students then participated in breakout sessions, where they had the chance to ask questions, engage in small group discussions, and learn more about different fields directly from those who once walked the same hallways.
LuHi is deeply grateful to all the alumni who gave their time to pour into the next generation of students. Your stories, successes, and willingness to give back continue to inspire and make the LuHi community proud. Thank you for being a part of this special day!
