LuHi Boys and Girls Basketball Teams are State Champs!

The New York State Federation Tournament of Champions returned this year for the first time since 2019, and on Saturday, March 25, the LuHi Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams both took home the Class AA State Championship!

LuHi’s Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Stepinac High School 81-57 in the championship game, and the LuHi Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated St. Mary’s High School 99-58 in their championship game. This marks the first time since 2011 that both programs have won the state championship in the same season. Congratulations to Coach Buck and the Boys Varsity NIBC team, and to Coach Raiti and the Girls Varsity basketball team, on an incredible season for both programs!
