LuHi Boys Lacrosse Featured in Newsday!
We’re proud to share that our boys lacrosse team was recently featured in Newsday following a thrilling 8-6 victory over Long Beach in a non-league showdown on April 7, 2025. The spotlight is well deserved as our young team continues to build momentum and make a name for themselves early in the season.
The game was a true team effort, led by standout performances from eighth-graders Peter Weston and William Mondiello, who each scored three goals. Their poise and skill on the field are a testament to the bright future of our program.
Anchoring the defense was junior captain Dom Passannante, a Wagner College commit, whose 13 crucial saves kept Long Beach in check and helped seal the win.
We’re incredibly proud of the players and coaches for this exciting achievement and the recognition that came with it.
