LuHi Partners with uniball for National Signing Day
We’ve got some exciting news to share with the LuHi community! Our school has officially partnered with uniball, one of the most trusted names in the pen industry, for a groundbreaking new initiative. This collaboration brings a unique opportunity to our athletes, as LuHi has been selected as one of the top high schools across the country to participate in the first-ever uniball National Signing Day!
What exactly does this mean for our students? Nationally renowned Paragon, a leader in athletic events, identified top high schools nationwide to be part of this exclusive event, and LuHi is proud to be among the chosen few. This partnership not only highlights the commitment of our student-athletes but also celebrates their dedication to pursuing collegiate sports at the highest level.
This past Wednesday, November 13, was a day to remember as five of our talented athletes were officially recognized and featured for their college commitments. These students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we’re excited to share their achievements with you:
- Kayden Mingo – Men’s Basketball, Penn State
- Kate Ross – Women’s Lacrosse, LIU
- Nick Onyekwere – Men’s Basketball, Florida State
- Nigel James – Men’s Basketball, Marquette
- Emily Butera – Softball, Molloy University
Each of these athletes has demonstrated remarkable skill, perseverance, and sportsmanship in their respective sports, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments. The uniball National Signing Day celebration not only marks the beginning of their collegiate careers but also serves as an inspiration to all of our students who dream of following in their footsteps.
We want to extend a huge congratulations to Kayden, Kate, Nick, Nigel, and Emily, as well as the rest of our incredible athletes who continue to make us proud every day. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of them—and for the many more student-athletes at LuHi who are on their way to achieving great things!
