LuHi Seniors Commit at Spring Signing Day Event

On Tuesday, April 18, Long Island Lutheran High School celebrated its spring signing day for college-bound athletes. The event honored four outstanding LuHi students who have committed to play sports at the next level.

Vincenzo Verdi will be playing football at Bryant University, John Viggiani will be playing men’s lacrosse at LIU, Tre Leandre will be playing football at Morehouse College, and Isabella Zingoni will be playing women’s basketball at Cortland.

Each athlete was recognized individually by their coaches, who gave speeches highlighting their unique talents and achievements. Family members were invited to attend the celebration and show their support for the student-athletes.

The signing day event was a testament to the hard work and dedication that these four athletes have put into their sports. It was also a reminder of the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and community support in achieving success.
