LuHi Students Reflect During Easter Service

On Wednesday, April 13, the LuHi community came together to celebrate and reflect on the real meaning of Good Friday and Easter.

During the first portion of the activities, students rotated between a Good Friday reflection service where they received Holy Communion, a service project where they decorated rocks with encouraging phrases to be placed around campus, and lunch.

Following the rotation, all students and staff processed down the hill to the turf field to solemnly reflect on the stations of the cross. Led by our 11th grade Religion students, and anchored by beautiful paintings for each station created by Maria ’22, students went in groups through each station of the cross. They gathered to watch the remainder of the passion play together as a school community, and then were dismissed silently to head off to Easter Break.

As a school community, we appreciate the ability to celebrate the true meaning of Easter, and look forward to celebrating the hope of the Resurrection in chapel when we return from Spring Break!
