On Thursday, December 16, LuHi’s annual Christmas Spectacular was held in the Hahn Center for Performing Arts. The Christmas Spectacular is a LuHi tradition that uses, song, dance, and skits to get the audience in the Christmas spirit, and it always ends with the nativity scene as we focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
This year was no different. Ms. Benincasa’s dance classes performed several numbers, several students choreographed and performed their own routines, and students sang beautiful Christmas songs. Several students performed a skit of “A Christmas Carol” that was interspersed between the performances. In the end, our audience was treated to a reading of the Christmas story and a live nativity as we celebrated the birth of Jesus.
