LuHi’s inaugural International Night was a smashing success, thanks to the incredible contributions of our students, parents, and faculty! This special evening was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity, bringing together our school community to share traditions, cuisine, and performances from around the world.

From the moment guests stepped into the event, they were immersed in a global experience. The room was filled with beautifully crafted display boards, each showcasing a different country’s history, customs, and contributions. These exhibits, created by our talented students, served as a wonderful educational experience, allowing attendees to learn about various cultures in an interactive and engaging way.

Of course, no International Night would be complete without an array of delicious food! Students generously prepared and shared traditional dishes from their respective backgrounds, allowing everyone to take a culinary journey across continents. From savory bites to sweet treats, the flavors of the world were on full display, making this aspect of the event one of the evening’s highlights.

Adding to the excitement were the captivating performances that took center stage. Students performed songs and dances, as well as played instruments. The energy and passion displayed on stage reflected the beauty of cultural expression and the unity found within diversity.

A huge thank you to the World Languages Honor Society and Sra. Oyarce for their dedication to planning and leading this extraordinary event. Their hard work and vision made it possible for our school to come together and celebrate the richness of global cultures in such a meaningful way.

International Night was not just an event—it was an unforgettable experience that fostered appreciation, understanding, and connection within our community. We are so grateful to everyone who participated, and we look forward to making this an annual tradition at LuHi!
