Moving Up Chapel – A Meaningful End to the Year
As the school year comes to a close, our community gathered for one of the most meaningful traditions of the year, our final Chapel, Moving Up Chapel.
Today also marks our final day of classes for students in grades 6–11. As they close out instruction and transition into their quarterly assessments, we wish them the best of luck as they review, reflect, and prepare to finish the year strong.
Centered around this year’s theme, Transformed, the chapel served as both a reflection and a transition. Students, faculty, and staff took time to look back on a year of growth, change, and faith-filled moments that have shaped our community in powerful ways.
In a symbolic and highly anticipated tradition, each grade level physically moved up during the service. One by one, students stood and relocated to their new designated section of the chapel, representing where they will sit during the 2026–27 school year. What may seem like a simple shift in seating carried deep meaning. It was a visible reminder that with each passing year, students are growing, advancing, and being transformed in body, mind, and spirit.

Laughter, reflection, and a sense of anticipation filled the room as students stepped into new roles and looked ahead to the year to come. Faculty shared in the moment as they watched students embrace the change with excitement and gratitude.
The Transformed theme echoed throughout the service, reminding everyone that growth is not just academic, but personal and spiritual. This year has been marked by moments that challenged, strengthened, and shaped our students into who they are becoming.
As we close the year, Moving Up Chapel stands as a powerful reminder: we are not the same people who began the year. We have been transformed together.
