Congratulations to LuHi Girls Varsity Basketball player, Paris Clark ’22! Paris was recently selected to the McDonald’s All-American team for 2022. Regarded as one of the most prestigious all-star games for high school basketball players, the team roster is made up of the top 24 high school seniors in the country.
Paris has been a member of the LuHi Girls Varsity team since her freshman year. She plans to continue her education and basketball career at the University of Arizona. Paris is the second Lady Crusader to receive a place on the McDonald’s All-American roster – Celeste Taylor (LuHi ’19, Duke ’23) was also on the McDonald’s team in 2019.
Her coach, Christina Raiti ’12, shared the following about her senior leader: “Paris has grown into a mature player who will always be remembered in our program. She has become a role model to many young girls growing up in our game and she will continue to do so as she carries herself with grace and holds herself to a high standard. Women’s basketball is lucky to have players like Paris Clark; it allows the future generation to continue to be inspired and find their own will to pursue greatness. Players like Paris Clark are rare; I am incredibly proud and fortunate to have been a part of her journey and cannot wait to see what she does next at Arizona.”
