Welcoming Jamel Ramsay as LuHi’s New Athletic Director
LuHi is excited to welcome Jamel Ramsay as our new Athletic Director. Mr. Ramsay brings a wealth of experience in athletics, leadership, and student development to LuHi, along with a deep commitment to helping young people grow both on and off the field.
Before joining LuHi, Mr. Ramsay served as Director of Athletics at Maritime College, where he provided leadership across the college’s athletic programs. He also previously served as Head Football Coach at Maritime College and Nassau Community College, leading programs while mentoring and developing student-athletes.
With a master’s degree in Sports Science, Mr. Ramsay brings both professional experience and a strong understanding of the role athletics can play in shaping young people. His approach to leadership is grounded in faith, character, accountability, and the development of the whole student-athlete.
