8th Grade Moving Up: The Journey Continues

“The Journey Continues”, held on Friday, June 3rd, celebrated the accomplishments and achievements of LuHi’s 8th grade students as they move from middle school on to high school. In addition to special performances by student musicians, and a ceremony where each student received a bible, students shared testimonials and speeches that reflected on their growth and experiences during their time at LuHi. In her speech, Kennedy ’26 shared, “With everything going on in the world right now, I am thankful to have the LuHi community to lean on. LuHi believes in us and continues to support us, where and when we need it.” Olivia ’26 also spoke at the ceremony, and she shared, “I believe every LuHi teacher was always kind and helpful. I take comfort in knowing that we have really gotten to know them and how supportive they are. Right now is a perfect opportunity to say “thank you” for all that our teachers have given to prepare us for high school and beyond.”

We wish God’s richest blessings to the Class of 2026 as their journey continues!
