LuHi Role: Teacher (Science), joined the LuHi faculty in 2023

Education:New York Institute of Tech, BS In Health Sciences, Magna cum Laude; Iona University, MSEd Biology, Magna cum Laude

What I love about my role:I love that biology is the foundation of life. I love that the things that we do in biology are often very observable, that more so than some of the other sciences Biology is always all around us. I also love nature and animals!

Previous professional experience:I most notably worked on Wall Street as a Biotech analyst. I would essentially do research on biotech companies and present to investors, often high powered C-level executives.

Hobbies:Video Games, Nature/Animals, photography, Museums zoos and aquariums, fishing, Taekwondo

Family:I grew up local on Long island near Glen Cove. My father was born here and met my Japanese mother in Japan. I met my girlfriends of now three years in the middle of the pandemic online on our favorite video game. I currently have 3 dogs (a German Shepard, a Beagle, and a Yorkie) and 3 cats along with other critters.

What I love most about LuHi:While this will be my first year, I’m very excited to work in a loving environment that emphasizes the values of family and community. I hope to be as involved as possible at LuHi to uphold these values!
