Paris Clark Named NYS Gatorade Player of the Year for Girls Basketball

Congratulations to Paris ’22, who was recently named the Gatorade Player of The Year for girls basketball in New York State! 

The Gatorade Player of the Year award was established in 1985 to recognize the nation’s most elite high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.

Coach Christina Raiti wrote the following about Paris in her nomination application: “Paris has grown into a mature player who will always be remembered in our program. She has become a role model to many young girls growing up in our game and she will continue to do so as she carries herself with grace and holds herself to a high standard. Players like Paris are rare; I am incredibly proud and fortunate to have been a part of her journey and cannot wait to see what she does next.”
