School Spirit on Display During Annual Spirit Week

LuHi middle and high school students, faculty, and staff showed their energy and school spirit during our annual fall Spirit Week, held October 11-14, 2022. There were 4 dress up days that were chosen and shared by the Student Government.

Tuesday, October 11 was Tumbleweed Tuesday. Students dressed up in their “Texas best!”, cowboy hats and all. Wednesday brought the return of a beloved class, Pajama Day! Students were definitely cozy and wore everything from onesie pj’s to cozy pajama pants. Thursday was one of the most exciting days – Throwback Thursday, with a focus on throwing it back to the 90’s and 00’s. Throwback jerseys, jeans, and lots of flannel were all part of the day.

Of course, Friday was the traditional School Colors Day, as students prepared for Pep Rally 2022! Students were assigned school colors by grade level, and high school classes designed and purchased special class t-shirts. Students also decorated their hallways and their school spirit was on display. Spirit Week is a time-honored LuHi tradition, and our Student Government created a fabulous week for our students!
